Flammable Materials Storage Cabinets
Flammable materials are materials or gases whose vapours form potentially explosive mixtures with the surrounding air and which are flammable in the presence of an ignition source. Typically, the flash point of products designated 'flammable' is between 23 and 60°C (eg. turpentine oil, styrene), of 'highly flammable' products below 23°C (eg. acetone, petrol) and 'extremely flammable' below 0°C with a boiling point below 35°C (eg. acetylene, hydrogen, diethyl ether).
Safe storage of flammable and combustible liquids is essential to help minimise exposure to ignition sources and to keep them separate from the rest of the facility.
Flammable materials require storage in flammable materials storage cabinets. The purpose of a flammable liquid storage cabinet is to protect the contents inside and to keep the contents from contributing to a fire.
Our goal is to offer you options for storage and handling of flammable and other hazardous substances in your day-to-day working life.
Select from a large range of flammable storage cabinets that are GS-tested and guarantee compliance with the requirements of EN 14470-1/-2 and EN 14727. We offer cabinets just for flammables, or for both flammables plus other hazardous materials and aggressive chemicals. They are ideal for use in laboratories, industry or craft workshops in a range of sizes and styles, for example as underbench, freestanding or wall mounted units with different configurations of doors, shelving, transport bases, lock type and capacity.
To ensure all-round protection, our wider product portfolio also includes other hazardous materials storage in the workplace, extraction and filter systems, hazardous materials handling in outdoor areas, protection of non-smokers and maintenance and service solutions for all sectors. Our product range includes safety storage cabinets certified to EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 suitable for any industrial or laboratory segment.
