Demonstrate the presence of both neutral and acidic mucosubstances with the Epredia™ Alcian Blue/PAS Special Stain Kit

  • Can be used alone to stain acid mucins and other carboxylated and sulfated acid mucosubstances blue on tissue sections
  • Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS) reaction is used to stain glycogen, basement membranes and neutral mucosubstances

Includes: Alcian Blue pH 2.5 stain solution, periodic acid solution (0.5%) and Schiff reagent
