Description

Dewar flasks according to DIN EN ISO 16496. KGW-Isotherm Cylindrical Dewar Flasks, Blue with Side Handle provide high insulation reliability and easy handling in an economical product. Available in a variety of capacities, with plugs sold separately.

  • Made of borosilicate glass according to ISO 3585
  • Protective casing made of blue-coated metal
  • Fully silvered
  • Easy handling with side grip handle
  • Area of application:
    • Flexible laboratory, medical and biotechnology applications
    • Insulated storing and short-distance transport of small samples
    • Store under liquid or solid coolants (e.g. liquid N2 and CO2 dry ice)
    • Pressure-less space for coolants
    Chemical characteristics:
    • Hydrolytic resistance: according to ISO 719 (98°C)
    • Hydrolytic resistance: according to ISO 720 (121°C)
    • Acid resistance: according to ISO 1776
    • Alkaline resistance: according to ISO 695-A2
  • Temperature range:
    • Glass refill from -200°C to + 150°C, for a short time 200°C
