  • 10x Buffer E is a 10x concentrated Strep-Tactin™ elution buffer.
  • The contained desthiobiotin is a modified form of biotin that displaces Strep-tag™II and Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins from the modified biotin-binding pocket of Strep-Tactin™ in a competitive manner, resulting in a mild elution.
  • Please note that 10x Buffer E is not applicable for elution from Strep-Tactin™XT resins.
