Tocris Bioscience™ DSPE-PEG 2000 Maleimide

Description
DSPE-PEG (2000) maleimide is a functionalized phospholipid-polymer conjugate. It comprises a 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-PE (DSPE) covalently coupled to a linear polyethylene glycol (Mr 2000) with a maleimide-terminated end. It is used to synthesize antibody-coupled PEG (2000)-DSPE micelles that can be transferred into liposomes to generate immunoliposomes. DSPE-PEG (2000) maleimide can also be incorporated into the outer membrane of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for further bioconjugation. It is used in antibody-targeted LNP-mRNA systems to generate transient antifibrotic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells in vivo.
