Description
Packing Tricorn columns is simplified using a Tricorn packing connector and the appropriate glass tube. Tricorn packing connector set includes one packing connector and two EPDM O-rings. Packing connectors are available in three sizes for using different i. d. Tubes: 5-5 is for 5mm tubes on both sides; 5-10 is for a 5mm tube on one side and a 10mm tube on the other side; and 10-10 is for 10mm tubes on both sides.
- Tricorn columns are designed for high resolution liquid chromatography of biomolecules performed at medium to high pressures. They are suitable for use with high performance media, such as Sepharose High Performance, Superdex Prep Grade, and SOURCE.
- The columns are available with inner diameters of 5 and 10mm, and in lengths from 20 to 200mm. Column lengths of 300 and 600mm are also available for the 10mm diameter columns. The design and dimensions of the columns make them particularly useful for screening and polishing steps in protein purification.
- Glass tubes coated with plastic film protects individuals in the laboratory from harm if the column is dropped or operated outside its specification.
