InstantOne ELISA

The InstantOne™ ELISA is specifically engineered for accurate measurement of total and phosphorylated human and mouse GSK3b (Ser9) in cell lysates. Detection of total and phosphorylated rat GSK3b (Ser9) is also expected. The InstantOne™ ELISA kit allows for fast analysis of samples in approximately one hour. All reagents used in a traditional sandwich ELISA are added in solution to a plate followed by a wash step and detection with the TMB colorimetric substrate.

Glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta (GSK3 beta) belongs to the subfamily of glycogen synthase kinases, that play a central role in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. GSK3 has alpha and beta isoforms (51 kDa and 47 kDa respectively), that are functionally dissimilar. GSK3 beta plays a role in insulin and Wnt signaling, and is inhibited following the extracellular signaling events.
