Use for various fusion or melting processes in the analytical lab. Heraeus™ High Form Platinum Crucible is a range of containers with good resistance to aggressive media and stability even at high temperatures. Crucibles use a dispersion hardened allot for increased strength and service times.

The use of precious metals is still absolutely essential because of their good chemical resistance to aggressive media. Precious metals remain stable even at high temperatures. The inclusion of finely dispersed zirconia, creating a Dispersion Hardened (DPH) allow, offers an economical way to increase the mechanical strength of the product resulting in longer service times.
