Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (62%), Rat (62%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84681 (PA5-84681. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

FAM164C, also named as ZC2HC1C or C14orf140, is a 456 amino acid protein, which contains one C2HC-type zinc finger and belongs to the ZC2HC1 family. FAM164C exists as two isoforms. The isoform1 is a 51 kDa protein ad isoform2 is 31 kDa.
