Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (52%), Rat (52%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84069 (PA5-84069. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Dendritic cells (DCs) are the most potent antigen-presenting cells. Immature DCs efficiently capture antigens and differentiate into interdigitating dendritic cells (IDCs) in lymphoid tissues that induce primary T-cell responses (summary by de Saint-Vis et al., 1998 [PubMed 9768752]).
