Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (56%), Rat (56%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-56037 (PA5-56037. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

ZFP90 may function as a repressor or silencer protein, and most likely exerts its repressing activity upon zinc-dependent binding to DNA. It may be involved in proper spermatogenesis by repressing the expression of genes unnecessary or incompatible with the maintenance of a haploid cell state.
