Tocris Bioscience™ Janelia Fluor™ 635b, Maleimide
Description
Spontaneously Blinking Janelia Fluor™ Dyes allow facile single-molecule localization microscopy (SMLM) in cells and dense biomolecular structures, without the need for photoactivation or redox buffers. These spontaneously blinking dyes harness Janelia Fluor™ technology to delivery dyes that automatically cycle between 'off' and 'on' states with an ideal duty cycle for super resolution microscopy experiments.
Key Information: Janelia Fluor™ 635b, Maleimide is a spontaneously blinking fluorescent dye, supplied with a maleimide reactive group for conjugation (thiol reactivity) for the labeling of protein.
Used for: suitable to characterize the physical properties of dense biomolecule condensates and complex macromolecular assemblies.
Application: suitable for super resolution microscopy (SRM) including single-molecule localization microscopy (SMLM).
Properties and Photophysical Data: derived from Janelia Fluor™ 635, Maleimide (Cat. No. 8027). Excitation and emission maxima (λ) are 651 nM and 667 nM, respectively.
Janelia Fluor is a registered trademark of Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
