Eurofins DiscoverX Met (Y1248C) Protein, Active
Description
MET tyrosine kinase is a high-affinity receptor for hepatocyte growth factor/scatter factor. Signaling via this receptor-ligand pair has been shown to affect a wide range of biological activities, including angiogenesis, cellular motility, growth, invasion, and morphogenic differentiation. Mutations in the MET tyrosine kinase receptor have been identified in both hereditary and sporadic forms of papillary renal carcinoma and implicated in tumor growth, invasion, and metastasis.
