MT Buffer is a lysis solution, carefully developed to protect and solubilize nucleic acids and proteins upon cell lysis.

  • MT Buffer is a lysis solution component included in the FastRNAPro Soil Direct and Indirect Kits, the FastDNA Spin Kit for Feces, and the FastDNA 50 mL Spin Kit for Soil.
  • Used as a stabilization agent during sample lysis.
  • Homogenization takes place in the presence of MT Buffer, this reagent is carefully developed to protect and solubilize nucleic acids and proteins upon cell lysis.
  • Thus allowing extraction of genomic DNA with minimal RNA contamination.
