Description

Designed to isolate CD8+ T cells via a negative selection principle

CD8 is a heterodimeric glycoprotein consisting of an alpha and beta chain. It is expressed on cytolytic T cells and functions in conjunction with the T cell receptor in the recognition of MHC/peptide complexes.

Typical recovery ranges between 40 and 55% and the purity of recovered CD8+ T cells ranges between 87 and 93%, with no detectable CD4+ T cells
Kit protocols based on the use of Ferrofluids or magnetic nanoparticles that have no magnetic memory (superparamagnetic)
These Ferrofluids have a diameter of 150nm and as a result behave like colloidal particles, offering a higher ligand capacity per mass compared to other, larger magnetic particles
