Description
Description: The eBioAPC-6A2 monoclonal antibody reacts with allophycocyanin (APC) and APC-Cy7, with no crossreactivity to fluorescein (FITC) or phycoerythrin (PE). When using eBioAPC-6A2 as a second-step antibody, in combination with an appropriate third step, to bind a APC-conjugated primary antibody, there is no decrease in the fluorescent intensity of the directly conjugated APC antibody. Therefore no interference or quenching of the APC fluorochrome is observed. The eBioAPC-6A2 can be used for separation of cells labeled with APC-conjugated antibodies or for staining. Please note that the optimal concentration for this antibody will vary depending on the density of the primary APC-conjugated antibody and the application tested. Applications Reported: This eBioAPC-6A2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This eBioAPC-6A2 antibody has been tested flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells stained with an APC-conjugated antibody. This can be used at less than or equal to by μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Anti-APC (Allophycocyanin) antibodies can be used to bind APC-conjugated primary antibodies without decreasing fluorescent intensity of the APC fluorochrome. This method is used for separation of cells labeled with APC-conjugated antibodies.Specifications
