These polypropylene closures lock over the tubing, forming a sack ensuring a leak-proof seal

These polypropylene closures lock over the tubing, forming a sack ensuring a leak-proof seal. Regular closures will float in water. They eliminate the need for tying knots in dialysis tubing, a practice which can adversely affect the porosity of a membrane. Lighter than water, regular closures are normally used with weighted or magnetic weighted closures. Attach a regular closure to the top of the dialysis tubing and a weighted or magnetic weighted closure to the bottom for vertical floating. Not for use with cellulose ester membrane tubing. Autoclavable.
