Contec™ Mop Head Saturation System

Small and compact, the stainless steel cart with twin 10 L buckets is ideal for small to medium sized cleanroom. Being lightweight and maneuverable the cart is easy to use. The cart is fitted with four non marking, autoclavable castors, meaning the whole cart can be autoclaved before use. In order make the system highly efficient and cost effective the mop heads used need to be fast-wicking and highly sorbent. Contec has developed a new flat mop head to be used as part of the system; Contec Quiltec I Polyester Mop Heads.

The buckets are designed to take 5 flat mop heads which can be saturated with 1 L of fluid. The second bucket can be used for the dilution of a concentrate and then to store the used mop heads preventing any cross contamination. The mop heads are placed on an easy-fit mop applicator frame which coupled with the mop head design,means the mop heads can be fitted to the mop frame hands-free. A stainless steel disinfectant diffuser tray helps to evenly saturate every mop head. The diffuser tray can be placed into a slot on the side of the cart when not in use for easy storage. Simply pour the disinfectant onto the mop heads either from the bottle or straight from the other bucket, wait 5 mins for full saturation and the mops are ready to use. Contec Quiltec I Mop Heads are manufactured from 100% 2-ply polyester around a rayon core so are ideal for even the highest grade of cleanroom as they generate very small numbers of particle and fibres.
