Recommended for vacuums reaching between 1 x 10-5 and 1 x 10-6 mm HgDow Corning™ High-Vacuum Grease is used as an anti-seize grease in ground glass joints. It is used to lubricate synthetic and silicone rubber gaskets. Further, it is used to lubricate plug valves, control valves, flow meter bearings, ceramic plug cocks and fire extinguisher valves. In addition to this, it is used to lubricate water-treating equipment, laboratory equipment, lubricate O-rings on binoculars and telescopes and to prevent fogging of delicate lenses.
