Minimize background in Western blots, increasing sensitivity for superior detection of even low-abundance proteins

 

  • Ready-to-use
  • Protein-free, reducing nonspecific binding, especially when using phosphoantibodies or avidin-biotin systems
  • Specially engineered for the EMD Millipore SNAP i.d.™ detection system, but may be used in traditional Western blotting protocols
  • Suitable for the dilution of primary and secondary antibodies
  • Sufficient for 19 miniblots (each 8 × 7cm blot requires at least 26mL for SNAP i.d.)
  • Compatible with streptavidin antibodies
  • Compatible with PVDF (Immobilon™ P, Immobilon FL) and nitrocellulose

 

 

  • Block-CH reagent is compatible with Immobilon HRP substrate
  • Choose from three Block reagents
  • Block-CH reagent for HRP chemiluminescence detection
  • Block-FL reagent for fluorescence detection
  • Block-PO reagent for phosphoprotein detection via chemiluminescence or fluorescence
