Gallocyanine is used as an intermediate in chemical research. It is a small molecule dye that also inhibits DKK1 of the Wnt pathway.

Solubility
Soluble in water (10 mg/ml), 100% ethanol (10 mg/ml), alcohol, 1N NH4OH (10 mg/ml), and DMSO (25 mg/ml).
