Description

The most widely used Mitomycin antibiotic. Mitomycin C, MP Biomedicals is the least toxic of the mitomycin antibiotics, with the most potent antitumor activity. It is an inhibitor of DNA synthesis, nuclear division, and cancer cells.

  • Antibacterial to gram positive, gram negative and acid-fast bacilli
  • Decomposes DNA in cancer cells by forming a complex with DNA
  • Inhibits division of cancer cells by interfering with the biosynthesis of DNA
