Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: Kclr; D18063; Clecsf13; KUCR_MOUSE
  • CLEC4F is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein member of the C-type lectin superfamily.
  • CLEC4F is expressed on Kupffer cells in the liver, but not on macrophages in other tissues.
  • CLEC4F preferentially binds galactose and N-acetylgalactosamine in a calciumdependent manner.
  • Its activity at neutral, but not at acidic pH, suggests a capacity to internalize and release ligands into the endosomal system.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
