Description

Mineral Mix for rodent diet. Use in conjunction with supplement U.S.P. XIII, No. 2 Mineral Mix (cat # 960300) for long term growth and development of the rat.

Composition (Ingredients, Amount):

  • Calcium Biphosphate, 13.58%
  • Calcium Lactate, 32.69%
  • Ferric Citrate (16 to 17% Fe), 2.96%
  • Magnesium Sulfate, 13.7%
  • Potassium Phosphate Dibasic, 23.99%
  • Sodium Biphosphate, 8.73%
  • Sodium Chloride, 4.35%

This mineral mix does not supply the essential minerals manganese, zinc, copper, iodine, chromium, and selenium. The calcium level is low. MP recommends the use of supplement.

U.S.P. XIII, No. 2 Mineral Mix (Catalog number 960300) in conjunction with this formulation for long term growth and development of the rat.
