Description

Anion exchange chromatography for purification of DNA from bacteria, yeast, and tissue

Genomic DNA quality is extraordinarily high. Samples are first lysed under special conditions for removal of erythrocytes. After incubation with proteinase K, the sample is diluted with buffer N2 before loading onto the NucleoBond™ column. After elution with high-salt buffer the genomic DNA is precipitated with isopropanol. The DNA purified by this method is suitable for all kinds of subsequent reactions. Kit components: NucleoBond™ CB 100 kit - NucleoBond AXG 100 columns, buffers, proteinase K. NucleoBond™ CB 500 kit - NucleoBond™ AXG 500 columns, buffers, proteinase K.
