Description

Human PgR exists in two forms: 116kDa (B-form) and 81kDa (A-form). It acts as ligand activated transcription factor to regulate expression of the target genes. Null mutation in PgR gene leads to pleiotrophic reproductive abnormalities.

Isotype: IgG1/κ

Species Reactivity: Human, Cow, Horse, Rabbit, and Chicken. Does not react with monkey. Others not known.

Epitope: N-terminal half of human progesterone
