Description

Large-capacity, stainless steel PCR UV cabinet workstation with additional space for equipment and accessories. Grant Instruments™ PCR UV Cabinets come equipped with an open UV lamp installed in the upper part of the hood.

  • UV-radiation from the dual 30W 254nm UV lamp effectively disinfects the working area chamber, inactivating DNA or RNA fragments during 15-30 minutes of exposure.
  • Convenient, easy-to-use, 24hr. digital timer for accurate control of UV exposure.
  • An additional daylight lamp provides a bright, clear working area.
  • Equipped with a high efficiency flow-type bactericidal UV cleaner-recirculator (UV lamp, dust filters, fan) for constant decontamination inside the cabinet during operation.
  • The recirculation effect increases the maximum density of the UV light making it sufficiently effective for DNA or RNA inactivation.
  • The recirculator processes 360 UV-cabinet volumes per hour (25m3/h), creating permanently aseptic conditions within the cabinet.
  • Three internal electrical sockets.
  • Robust construction with large 1.2m x 0.52m working area for equipment and comfortable working.
  • UV protection from UV-protective film on glass panels.
  • Front opening with three adjustable positions for ease of access.
  • Automatic switch-off of irradiated UV light when door opened.
  • Applications: these PCR UV-cabinets are designed for clean operations with DNA samples and provide protection against contamination. They are recommended for operations with dangerous infectious and viral materials as well as for DNA/RNA amplification.
