Description

For use in protein purification applications

The AKTA start protein purification system is equipped with a UV monitor to continuously measure the absorbance of the liquid in the UV flow cell at a fixed wavelength (280nm). The UV monitor incorporates durable and reliable LED technology that is ready-to-use without any warm-up time. Moreover, the UV monitor does not generate any local heating of the flow cell, making it particularly suitable for heat-sensitive samples. The monitor is available with a 2mm optical path length flow cell and gives linear absorbance up to 1.5 AU.
