Description

Thermo Scientific viscosity standards used for rheometer calibration enables the verification of the accuracy of rheological measurements.

To ensure the proper functioning and accuracy of measuring instrument a regularly check of the functionality and calibration of viscometer or rheometer is essential. This can be conveniently achieved by measuring a Newtonian liquid with a certified viscosity value. To facilitate this process, a variety of standard liquids with different viscosity values, uncertainties, reference temperatures, and chemical compositions are readily accessible. These standard liquids serve as reliable benchmarks for verifying the accuracy and reliability of the measuring instruments.

All Thermo Scientific viscosity standards are delivered with a certified viscosity at different temperatures: 20 °, 23 ° or 25 ° available in different quantities (100 mL or 500 mL).

Alternatively, a complete validation kit is available containing Newtonian reference fluids for rotational tests and a visco-elastic sample with a known crossover, to validate the performance in oscillatory mode. For more information see the product description 'Well prepared good results' (P063).
