Description
Aluminum nitrate hydrate is used to produce alumina for the preparation of insulating papers, and in the extraction of actinide elements. It is also used in the preparation of rare earth aluminates, in the heating elements of cathode ray tubes, as a precursor for sol-gel synthesis of alumina, and on transformer core laminates.
