Description

Aphidicolin from Nigrospora oryzae ≥98%, Free Flowing Powder

  • It is an antibiotic, a potent antiviral and antimitotic agent and DNA polymerase inhibitor.
  • Inhibits the early S-phase of the cell cycle. DNA polymerase α and δ reversible inhibitor.
  • Potentiates apoptosis induced by arabinosyl nucleosides in leukemia cell lines.
  • Also induces apoptosis in HeLa S3 cells, but inhibits vincristine-induced apoptosis in the p53-negative human prostate cancer cell line PC-3.
