Description

Applications
Hydrindantin dihydrate is a reagent for photometric determination of amino acids and also used in amino acid determinations as a ninhydrin synergist. It is a chemical used in Stein-Moore-Chromatography.

Solubility
Insoluble in water. Soluble with decomposition in aqueous sodium carbonate (deep red color) and in sodium hydroxide solutions (deep blue color).

Notes
Store under cool dry place. Ensure good ventilation. Incompatible with oxidizing agents.
