Host Species: Mouse

Isotype: IgG1/κ

Species Reactivity: Human, Marmoset, Monkey, Cow, Sheep, Goat, Pig and Guinea Pig.

Epitope: On nonhelical (noncollagenous) C-terminal region of collagen VII and is resistant to collagenase, trypsin, pronase, neuraminidase, chondroitinase and hyaluronidase. However, it is lost by digestion of collagen VII with pepsin.

Immunogen: Insoluble fractions of human neonatal foreskin epidermal cells

Molecular Weight: 250 kDa (intact) 150 kDa (digested)

Positive Control: Normal skin

Cellular Localization: Epidermal basement membrane

Recommended for:

  • Immunohistochemistry (Acetone-fixed frozen only; fixation in methanol is not suitable)
  • Immunofluorescence
  • Electron Microscopy
